Meissen, designed 1753/54, made around 1860. Polychrome painted porcelain. Crossed swords mark, model no. '13'. Prof. rest. H. 13,5 cm. - Since 1742 assistant of J.J. Kaendler, worked in the Meissen manufactory until his death 1768 and was strongly influenced by Kaendler's style. He was primarily employed for figure series but he also created independently various own models.
