Coloured pencil and pencil, 33,5 x 21,5 cm, lo. le. Persian inscription and date, on the backing cardboard label and poem in Persian, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - Iranian painter, draughtsman and illustrator. He studied politics and law in Tehran until 1962 but worked as illustrator afterwards. Since 1972 he also worked for French magazines and shortly after for the New York Times. Because of political pressure he had to leave Iran in 1977 and settled in New York.
