Oil/wood, 53 x 41 cm, some rest. - Provenance: Private collection Lower Saxony. - The painter with the nickname 'Master of the Liverpool Madonna', who was active at the turn of the 16th century, was, as stylistic comparisons suggest, a pupil of Antoniazzo Romano and Piermatteo d'Amelia.
