Meissen, designed 1928. White porcelain. Model no. 'A 1200'. At the bottom side impressed crossed swords mark and impressed 'white', on the narrow side of the plinth underglazed blue crossed swords mark. H. 43,5 cm. - German sculptor, studied at the academy in Karlsruhe and Berlin, where he took over the studio of Max Esser, in 1931 he became professor in Weimar, between 1927 and 1930 the Meissen manufactory acquired various models.
