Early 20th cent. Brown patinated bronze. At the edge of the plinth sign. 'PH. KITTLER'. Min. scratches. Overall h. (with base) 36 x w. 17,5 x d. 9 cm. - German sculptor, educated at the school of arts and crafts in Nuremberg and at the kiln factory for ceramics in Hamburg as well as at the academy of arts in Munich under W.v. Ruemann, most important sculptor of the city of Nuremberg, created among others the architectural sculpture for the Bavarian Trade Museum in Nuremberg, numerous monuments and fountains as well as small sculptural works, medals and plaques.
