Around 440 BC. Probably from the circle of the Persephone painter. Outside under the lip frieze of double palmettes between clay-ground grooves, meander under the image. Clay-ground grooves around the rib at the base of the foot and in front of the base of the curved rim. Painted red figures in two friezes. Above A/B: Amazon procession. Two Amazons on foot look around for the following rider, a fourth Amazon follows. Side B: Amazon on foot, followed by two horsewomen. Lower frieze, side A: Farewell of a youth looking at his mother, behind the youth the bent father leaning on a stick. Side B: Pursuit. A youth with a spear hurries towards a woman with his hand outstretched, behind him another woman who is about to run away. Composed of a few fragments, repairs at the broken edges.
