Letter, 1993, red fineliner and pen, on the back of 13 illustrations of his diaries, each approx. 14 x 19 cm, one smaller, one larger, numbered 1-12B, page 11 is missing. Two photographs and two faxes, 27 May 1993 and 03 June 1993. - US-American photographer. B. studied 1958-61 at Yale university, among others under the emigrated Bauhaus artist Josef Albers. In 1955 he travelled Africa for the first time. In 1961 he moved to Kenia, where he made friends and collaborated with Karen Blixen. The endangered species of East Africa are the main subjects of his photos. B. enriches them with collages, drawings and even blood, often in cooperation with local artists.
