Around 1900. Platinum, 14 ct. yellow gold. The colour fine, natural ruby in oval cut approx. 1,40 ct. (Siam, approx. 7,7 x 5,4 x 4 mm), with 54 old cut diam. in total approx. 0,60 ct. White (H)-Slightly Tinted White(I).vvs-si. and with further 16 rubies in asymmetrical trapez cut varying shapes. Edge with fine engraved ornaments. 16 x 18 mm, weight approx. 4,8 g. We thank the Gemmologisches Institut Hamburg for the oral reference regarding the ruby. - Provenance: Court jeweler Leonhard Treusch (1876 - 1954), since the early 20th century C. E. Keyser Juwelier-, Gold- und Silberwarenhandlung, Leipzig, since then in family ownership. -
