Middle Byzantine, 10th-12th cent. Bronze cross with widening arms, each with two rosettes at the ends. On the upper arm of the cross the Assumption of Christ, on the lower arm the Baptism of Christ, below a bust of Mary and assistant figures, on the l. and r. arms of the cross an angel, seated Mary with Christ's boy and accompanying figures. On the left and right arms of the cross an angel, seated Mary with Christ's boy and accompanying figures. Set glass stone with green background in the centre (later). Later mounting.
