1935. Oil/cardboard, 24 x 31,5 cm, lo. ri. monogr. and dat. H. O. 35. - German painter. After a middle-class education, O.-R. studied painting in Munich from 1892-96, among others with T. Blau. In 1896 she became a student of F. Overbeck in Worpswede, whom she married soon after. Despite her duties as a mother and housewife, and despite a tuberculosis disease, she created an independent and late rediscovered work, with which she emerged from the shadow of her husband since the 1990s.
