Vienna, c. 1870. Enamel, silver-gilt mount with MZ: 'HR' and Vienna official hallmark: 'A' (1866-1872). The body with 6 godrones and a slightly domed lid. Lid and sides painted with mythological scenes, the base with grotesque decoration. Min. ber. H. 3 cm, diam. 6,5 cm. - Viennese goldsmith and jeweller, famous for his masterly rock crystal engravings, at the Vienna World's Fair 1873 and at the Paris World's Fair 1878 R. was represented with numerous enamel works.
