Around 1910/20. bronze, brown-green patinated. On the round plinth sign. 'P. Moye'. On the underside fragments of an adhesive label of the Remmler Gallery in Leipzig, one of the most important galleries during the Weimar Republic. H. 59 cm. - The theme of the young slender girl who clasps her hands at the back of her neck after waking from sleep is reminiscent of the 1904/05 figure 'Eos' by Fritz Klimsch, but formally the little-known sculptor shows an independent conception of the body. - Provenance: Remmler Gallery, Leipzig (old adhesive label); private property Schleswig-Holstein. - German sculptor, pupil of Robert Diez.
