Kaars Sijpestein; lastly private collection Lower Saxony - German paintress, performance artist and writer. S. studied 1975-80 at the Dresden academy. Becaue auf an exhibition ban in the GDR she moved to West Berlin in 1984, she was awarded the Fred Thieler prize and the Gabriele Münter prize.
