Signed on the base: Fritz Heinemann, foundry stamp: AKT-GES-GLADENBECK-BERLIN-FRIEDRICHSHAGEN. Gilding partially worn. - A Berlin sculptor. Educated in Nuremberg, studied until 1889 at the Berlin Academy under Albert Wolff and Fritz Schaper and later taught at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Berlin. Lit.: AKL, Thieme-Becker, Vollmer.
