1892. Oil/canvas. 78 x 125 cm. Lo. ri. sign. and dat. C. Fedeler Bremerhaven 1892. Inconspicuous rest. - German marine and landscape painter. F. received lessons in painting from his father and then went to sea. In 1860 he settled in Bremerhaven and worked as a marine painter. Many of his motifs were reproduced for magazines and on postcards. F. also created frescoes for the Bremen Stock Exchange and stained glass windows for the Geestemünde Town Hall.
