Nancy. Around 1880. Slim bulbous form with ear handles, neck with fluted decoration. On the front in rocaillerelief cartouche fine painted in gold camaieu river landscape decor with fisherman, back with flowering branches and dragonflies. Fayence, light-green and brown glazed, painted with colored enamel paints and gold. Signed at the bottom: Emile Gallé/Fayencerie/Nancy (gold). 1 handle professional rest. - Provenance: Estate Countess Finck von Finckenstein-Brinkama - One of the most famous glass artists of the French Art Nouveau. Many designs of ceramic, glass and furniture in the style of historicism and art nouveau.
