B. studied at the Vienna Academy under Ch. Griepenkerl, then at the Munich Academy and the Knirrschule as well as under A. Hölzel. His elegantly mannered drawing style earned him numerous commissions for bookplates, and he repeatedly had to stand trial for his illustrations of erotic literature. Mus.: Vienna (Albertina), Linz.
