Ornamental pottery in the shape of a large snail, the shell removable as a lid - Austrian ceramist and sculptor, counts among the most important representatives of Austrian contemporary art. Initially active as a building artist in churches and secular buildings, from 1946 she devoted herself to her 'Keramik Hallstatt', which she built up together with her husband Karl Heinz Wittke.
