Lütgendorff-Leinburg in Lübeck in 1920-22 and then studied in Munich until 1927. He was active in his hometown of Lübeck and created landscapes, city vedute, interiors and portraits. The Lübeck landscape painter Elisabeth Reuter was his aunt.
