1958/2005. PE print/aluminum dibond. 160 x 96 cm. Unframed. On the reverse on label autographed Herbert Dombrowski, num. 1/3 as well as titled. - German photographer. D. began taking photographs already as a schoolboy. After World War II he opened a studio and worked first as an advertising photographer, in later years on behalf of large companies such as BMW, VW and Esso. When D. came to the attention of Henri Nannen, his photo reportages appeared in Stern, and later also in Spiegel. D. was also active as a portrait photographer and photographed Konrad Adenauer, Willy Brandt and Josephine Baker, among others.
