From 19999-2006 M. studied at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg, including an Erasmus scholarship at the HGK Zurich in 2003/04. Subsequently, the artist completed his Diploma with Prof. Werner Büttner. His work has been exhibited at the Altonaer Museum, the Kunstverein Hamburg as well as the Künstlerhaus Sootbörn amongst others. The artist lives and works in Hamburg and Leipzig.
