G. studied at the art academies in Kassel and Braunschweig from 1991-1999, finally as a master student of K.-C. Schulz. She then spent three years in Milan, where she worked in G. Upiglio's studio. In addition to paintings and graphic works, G. also created numerous works for public spaces. The artist lives and works in Neumünster.
