Wählk and studied in 1918/19 at the Kunstgewerbeschule Kiel as well as in Munich, among others with Richard Riemerschmid. In 1920 he founded a theatre group in Heide, later he translated texts by Danish playwrights into German together with his wife. Mus.: Schleswig, Husum.
