L. studied at the Hochschule der Künste, Berlin from 1989-1995. In 1994 he was awarded the Young Art Finland Prize. He is best known for his brightly coloured figural works that raise questions about the human condition and exhibits both nationally and internationally. Public works can be found at the Ministry for Health and Social Affairs, Helsinki, Finland, and the University of Jönköping in Sweden. The artist lives and works in Berlin.
