Early 20th cent. Bronze, black patinated. H. 47 cm. On the top of the plinth sign. H. Guradze Berlin. - German sculptor and graphic artist, studied at the academy in Dresden and later at the teaching institute of the Berlin-Charlottenburg Museum of Decorative Arts. He became popular with the bronze statuette 'Kaiser Wilhelm II. als preußischer Ulan', which was exhibited in Berlin at the Akademie-Ausst. (1892) and in the Glass Palace in Munich (1898).
