On the underside inscribed ARTEMIDE MILANO CHIMERA VICO MAGISTRETTI ITALY. - Italian architect and industrial designer, studied architecture at the Polytechnic in Milan, active as an industrial designer since the 1960s. Numerous designs for furniture and lamps, for his table lamp "Atollo" he received the Compasso d'Oro design prize in 1979.
