Standing on a rectangular plinth, with a slender head and long mane, saddle with high gussets and fur saddlecloth, the bridle decorated with palmettes and shell-like pendants, the tail tied with ribbons, covered with a three-color glaze (sancai) - Expertise: The TL report by the Ralf Kotalla laboratory, Haigerloch, dated March 2nd, 2023, dates the last time of firing of the object to the year 893 AD (+/-14.5%) - Provenance: South German private collection -
