Oil/fibre board. 70 x 60 cm. Lo. ri. sign. Ernst Liebermann Mchn. - German portrait, figure and landscape painter. L. studied 1890-93 at the Berlin academy under J. Scheurenberg. After travelling extensively, among others to Paris and Italy, he settled in Munich in 1897. He worked as illustrator, among others for the Jugendstil magazine 'Jugend' before turning to painting.
