Lohse, lo. le. num. 5/25, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - Swiss artist, one of the main representatives of Concrete Art in the country. L. trained as a commercial artist at the Zurich School of Applied Arts from 1918-22. This initially remained his bread and butter profession; as a painter he was self-taught and found his way to Concrete Art from the 1940s. L. exhibited twice at the Documenta.
