1987. Bronze, brown patinated. Figure: H. 168 cm, plinth: 2 x 29 x 29 cm. On the plinth signed and dated ENGST 87, cast by the foundry Barth (without foundry stamp). The present copy is a private cast by the artist for his wife Vera. The Hapag-Lloyd shipping company in Hamburg acquired another copy in 1999 for their new cruise ship 'MS EUROPA VI' and placed the torso on the Lido Deck at the entrance to the Belvedere - Literature: Cat.rais. Tiedge 201 - German sculptor, studied after theological studies at the Art Academy in Munich by Prof. Hiller and at the HFBK in Hamburg by E. Scharff. Since 1967 freelance artist in Jersbek near Bargteheide, especially working in wood, stone, bronze and steel, including numerous orders for public buildings, so-called 'Art on the building'.
