Model 1915, executed 1919-27 and 1945-51. Silver, marked 830, MM: Georg Jensen, numb. 45 C and 925, MM: George Jensen & Wendel A/S, numb. 45 A. 3 pieces: sugar bowl (h. with cover 10 cm), small can (h. 11 cm) by 191-27, tea pot by Georg Jensen & Wendel 1945-51 (varying marks, 926S, numb. 45A, 'Dessin JR, Johan Rohde, H. 16,5 cm). Weight in total approx. 945 g. - Literature: Drucker, Georg Jensen, S. 223; Taylor/ Laskey, p. 68 - Danish silversmith, 1895-1901 Studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, then worked in the studio of the Danish court jeweler Michelsen. In 1904 opening of his own studio in Copenhagen where Jensen first produced works in the Art Nouveau style. Soon after he founded the company Georg Jensen, which is famous for their designs in the functional style of the Danish industrial designs.
