1920. Watercolour. 66 x 48 cm. Lo. le. sign. an dat. Uzarski 20, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German painter, graphic artist and writer. After training as a master builder, he attended the Düsseldorf School of Arts and Crafts. This was followed by study visits to Paris and travels through Southern Europe and North Africa. He was a founding member and board member of 'Das Junge Rheinland', later of the 'Rheingruppe'. In 1967 he was honored with a retrospective exhibition in Berlin.
