He then studied at the Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, most recently as a master student of Bernhard Heisig. He also had the opportunity to study at the Gloucestershire College of Art and Technology in 1990. P. is one of the important German painters of the post-reunification period, he exhibited in many European and North American exhibitions. The artist lives and works in Leipzig.
