Venini, murano. 1992. Colourless, Iridescent glass with polychrome glass applications. H. 27 cm, diam. 53 cm. Sign. venini Mario Bellini, dated and numbered 1992/50, original label VENINI MURANO MADE IN ITALY. The artist himself describes the bowl as a representation of the 'broken dream of predetermined agreements'. Chaotically arranged fragments permeate the transparent traditional form of the 'alzata' with colours - Italian designer and architect, 1982 Professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, 1986-1991 editor-in-chief of the magazine 'Domus' and professor at the Domus Academy in Milan, in product design designer for renowned companies such as B&B Italia, Vitra, Rosenthal and chief designer for Olivetti
