Chávez, on the reverse on gallery label titled and dat. 1978, framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - Provenance: Galerie Faber, Brussels; Galerie Levy, Hamburg, 16.04.1980; since then private collection Hamburg - Peruvian painter. Ch. studied at the academy Lima 1955-59. After traveling through Europe, he settled in Paris in 1962 and exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1966. Since the end of the 1980s he has lived alternately in Peru and Paris. There is a museum dedicated to him in his native city of Trujillo. Mus.: Trujillo.
