Around 1930. Bronze, darkbrown patinated. Figure: H. 37 cm, travertine plinth: H. 5,5 cm. Sign. F Matthaei-Mitscherlich, foundry mark: H NOACK BERLIN-FRIEDENAU. Dancing female nude with a bouquet of roses in her hands - German painter and sculptor, took private lessons from Professor Gerhard Janensch in Berlin and was a pupil of Auguste Rodin in Paris. In Munich, she worked as a freelance artist in her own studio and later moved to Hamburg, where she received commissions from the Hamburger Kunsthalle and created numerous works for public spaces. After the death of her husband, she fell into financial difficulties and emigrated to Mexico, where she presented her works in many exhibitions
