Hugo Friedrich Hartmann, on the stretcher titled. - H. studied at the Dresden Academy from 1890-97, including in the master class of the Impressionist Gotthardt Kuehl. H. was a convinced open-air painter, he processed the specific light moods in his landscapes and is also referred to as a North German Impressionist.
