Greece, Attica. Around 525-475 B.C. Reddish clay, black figured. H. 11 cm, wide 27 cm, diam. 19,5 cm. Assembled from fragments, retouched at the break points. Skyphos on a foot rim. Painted on both sides with dancing maenads between palmettes. Rim and handle painted black - Literature: Comparable skyphos: Kyoto, Hashimoto Collection (CVA 1010199, here dancing maenads with Dionysus) - Provenance: Collection Prof. E.A.
