Paris. Around 1925. Silver, marked with large Paris guarantee stamp 'Minerva' (950), MM: GK and marked G. KELLER PARIS. Cover tureen in matching curved oval form with 4-fold pinched walls, ribbon-shaped handle with small volutes, matching curved presentoir. Tureen: H. 18 x 32 x 24 cm, presentoir: 45 x 34.5 cm. Weight approx. 4350 g - Founded in 1856, the company's high-quality silverware quickly gained recognition and was awarded silver and gold medals at the Paris World Exhibitions in 1867 and 1878. In 1867 and 1878 they were awarded silver and gold medals. Keller became an official supplier to European aristocratic houses, including Spain, Russia, Greece, Romania and the Principality of Monaco, and from 1897 the last Tsar, Nicholas II, regularly purchased works from Keller
