Around 1900. Silver, marked 800, half moon and crown, MM:J. H. WERNER, cloverleaf mark. Base and baluster shaft each with rich rocaille relief decoration with flowers, five-armed, removable attachments so that the girandoles can also be used as candlesticks for a candle. H. 59 cm, total weight approx. 5300 g. - J. H. Werner, based Friedrichstraße 173 in Berlin, was court jeweler to Emperor Wilhelm II and his wife as well as the crown prince. He was entrusted with numerous personal commissions from the emperor and executed works based on his drawings.
