1996. Optical glass, worked with hammer and diamond saw, partly ground and polished, sandblasted, engraved and cold painted, glued together. H. 28,5 x 14 x 10 cm. Sign. and dated ZUBER 96 (engraved). Abstract heads are among Zuber's most outstanding works, extraordinary in their treatment and captivating through the contrast of bright colors and transparent glass - Polish glass artist, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, where he completed his studies in the ceramics and glass department in 1974, moved to Paris in 1982 and began to explore new techniques such as 'cold work' with acid, sand and a diamond saw. Since 1984 Zuber has been creating animal sculptures such as horses and birds, hands and heads as well as abstract forms Mus.: Paris, Musée des Arts décoratifs; Coburg, Glas-Museum; Hamburg, Glas Collection Achilles-Stiftung and many others
