Bronze, goldbrown patinated, diabas base. Figure: H. 113,5 cm, base: H. 4 x 23 x 23 cm. Signed Wunderlich, numbered copy 23/150, foundry mark: Signet of ARA KUNST foundry, Altrandsbert. The slender, elegant female torso with a crowning crescent moon represents the moon goddess Diana and symbolizes the mythological relationship between the earth's satellite, the moon, and the woman - Expertise: Certificate by ars mundi Collection - Graphic artist, painter, draftsman and sculptor. W. studied in Hamburg from 1947, among his fellow students were Horst Janssen and Reinhard Drenkhahn. From 1951 he held a lectureship in graphics at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg.
