The seated mourning figure is reminiscent of the artist's earlier works in its closed, self-contained formal language, for example the sculpture ‘Blick nach innen’ (Looking inwards), which Cavezza created in 1988 for the public space in Troisdorf - Italian sculptor, studied from 1960-1966 at the Istituto d'Arte and at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, has lived and worked in Cologne since 1972
