Around 1983. Bronze, patinated. H. 41 x 19 x 19 cm. Monogrammed CB, numbered copy 6/6. Baumgärtel created the motif of Eve in 1983 as a sandstone sculpture during the Lübeck Sculpture Symposium (today in the Bürgergärten in Lübeck). - The depiction shows a female torso in soft and round forms with an apple below the pelvis. She is holding a second, bitten apple in her right hand behind her back, referring to the paradisiacal Fall of Man - German sculptor, 1976 - 1986 studied Fine Arts at the University of Art and Music, Bremen, with Bernd Altenstein and Waldemar Otto, until 2011 studio in Bremen and Oldenburg, since 2011 studio in the KunstHaus Alte Schule Wardenburg. Numerous solo and group exhibitions as well as works in public property and public space
