Behl 71, lo. le. titled, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German draughtsman, graphic artist and object artist of Concrete Art. B. studied at the University of Education in Alfeld and at the Werkkunstschule in Hanover from 1961-64. Mainly renowned for his drawings, he too created installations and, from 1980 onwards, developed covered paper objects. In 1995 he took part in the Venice Biennale. B. has received numerous prizes and awards, including the City of Kiel Culture Prize in 2016.
