Blau 1895 as well as inscribed Petersdorf, on the reverse sign. again a. inscribed N. 27. - The painting is from the creative career of the artist in the 1880s a. 90s that is characterised by the most distinct pictorial directness a. vitality. It shows the church a. the defence tower of Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna, which repeatedly served as one of Blau-Langs motifs. - Landscape a. flower painter, initially trained by A. Schäffer in Vienna, study trips through the alps, to Hungary, Italy a. the Netherlands, thereafter she studied at the Munich academy under W. Lindenschmitt, since 1874 she shared a studio with J.E.
