Geselschap Roma 1867, on the reverse collectors seal, slightly rest., unframed. - History a. figure painter, brother of Eduard G., studied at the Dresden academy under J. Schnorr v. Carolsfeld a. since 1855 at the Düsseldorf academy under G. Schadow a. E.
