Aquatint, 30,5 x 26 cm, lo. ri. in the plate inscribed "Buchhorn sc", lo. le. in the plate in scribed "Schadow del", framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - The sheets are from the series "Russische Kriegsvöler" from 1813. - Graphic artist, draughtsman a. painter, studied at the Berlin academy under D. Berger until 1793 where he became professor at the academy in 1814 a. director of the engraving school in 1824, he is considered to be the most eminent draughtsman of his time besides J.G.
