China, beg. of 18th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Porcelain, painted in blue, red and gold and brown rim. In the centre a circular reserve with landscape framed by overleaf pagodas and plants. At the rim 4 reserves with flowers on an underground with stylised clouds, verso 2 branches. Mark with lingzhi mushroom in double circle. Plates with the same decoration can be found in the former collection of the Duke of Hesse, Museum Fridericianum, Kassel (See: Schmidt, Porzellan aus China und Japan, 1990, S. 358, 392). Diam. 34,5 cm.
