China, 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Polychrome cloisonné on a copper-coloured bronze-body. Thick-walled censer in kuei-shape on 3 legs with 2 handles at the rim. On the bellied wall and at the bottom foliage with chrysanthemum on a turquoise underground. Underneath the rim a revolving floral border. Stylised six-character Xuande-mark. H. 11 cm, diam. 17,5 cm. Small censer of rectangular bellied shape on 4 legs with 2 side handles. All-over decoration with foliage and flowers on a light turquoise underground. Six-character mark. Min. losses of material in the surface. H. 8 cm.
